Nursing job has become very much in demand all over the world and this is the main reason why people in all sorts of places want to get nursing courses so they can have better job opportunities in the future or get a better career at present. At this point, we can practically say that in most universities around the world, we are currently within the age of Nursing Informatics. By definition, it is the discipline at the intersection of information science, computer science, and health care. It deals with the resources, devices, and methods required optimizing the acquisition, storage, retrieval, and use of information in health and biomedicine. In Asian countries, having this knowledge means getting a better job outside of their country, this is why in most universities that would offer Nursing Courses would have around 40% of their whole school population taking Nursing as their majors. Even in the internet, Nursing education is being offered in a lot of web sites and with the recent shortage of Nurses across the States and other parts of the world, it would only be wise to get in to this kind of industry to make money and of course, save lives at the same time.

Every parent wants their children to grow up to be healthy physically and intellectually. It is basically a norm that parents would want for their kids. This is why from ages 1-5, parents really need to guide their kids and provide them with better ideas so they would have good likings in studying. Leading them to learning games that would help them improve their critical thinking is a good way to exercise their minds as they grow older. Theodor Seuss Geisel (or more commonly known by his pen name Dr Seuss) and his stories are certainly a good way to further enhance your children’s intellectual capacity in a more fun way for them. His books are often characterized by imaginative characters, rhyme, and frequent use of trisyllabic meter, which is good for children’s brain development. His most celebrated books include the bestselling Green Eggs and Ham, The Cat in the Hat, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, Horton Hears a Who, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and all of these stories are well-known not only in the US but all over the world, too. A Dr. Seuss themed birthday party may also be a good idea since the children can both have fun and learn a lot of things during the party itself, without them noticing it. Dr. Seuss parents resources are currently available in many ways, especially in the internet and there are companies that can provide you with all sorts of stuff for your kids.

Job seekers need to know the importance of essay writing in their professional lives. Keep in mind that majority of the big companies will require not only your curriculum vitae, but also a cover letter that would allow you to initially tell them what you want and what you expect from them. There are times where an applicant fails to get a job, even though he or she has good qualifications for the job, just because the cover letter do not show concrete ideas.

You may call it a turn off if employers would find out that you can’t write a simple sentence in the correct form of grammar or you tend to just keep on writing words that don’t make sense. Proper English grammar skill is necessary for this and you have to remember to always be direct to the point, especially because you are writing a formal letter. Beating around the bush will not get you anywhere.

Now on to your career path… there are people, due to the financial circumstances that we have right now, who would strongly consider working abroad to find opportunities in foreign lands. If you are one of those people, the very first obvious thing that you need to know is to where you would want to go. It is never advisable to just simply buy a plane ticket to anywhere else in the world then start deciding on which job you would want to have because you might find yourself lost in a country where no one knows you and nobody understands you.

Also try to make a research if the country would permit you to apply for a working visa or a permanent resident status because if they can’t give you those things, it might haunt you in the future. Lastly, building a new network will always be vital. Make sure that you get to know lots of people before and during your stay in that foreign land.

Going back to major and career choices, the two will always have to coincide with each other because the moment that you study something and end up not doing it in your professional life, you might feel miserable with a lot of regrets. It may sound silly but you might want to think back when you were still a little kid. Try to remember your response when your folks would ask you what you would want to be when you grow up. You might actually find the answer there.

If not, try to see the jobs available today and analyze if you think those jobs would still be viable after five years or so. That way, you are already planning ahead in the future and it should also help you in choosing the right major for you. Lastly, never fall for the suggestions that you don’t really like. There are people that would take a certain major, just because their mom or dad has the same profession.

Once that you are decided on which major you would want to get in college, the next step is choosing the right university for you. keep in mind that not all universities may offer the major that you want so it is safer to think first of a college major because the common mistake that a lot of people commit is getting in to college first, then choose on whatever major they may offer and end up taking the wrong one for them. Never be afraid of ending up not getting in to the university that you want because education, no matter where you get it, will always be valuable.

The name of university may be an advantage, but if they don’t offer what you need, your stay in there might become a potential blowout of expectations. Always focus on your career goals and also the style of teaching that they have in it because you have to enjoy your stay to learn easier.

As written in the previous post, newly grads may have more difficulty in finding a job but if you were able to put a lot of attention to the education that you take, it would surely help make things easier. This one is for those who haven’t received their diplomas yet. It may already be a cliché but you have to, above all else, give importance to the education that you get, no matter how hard it may be. Remember that schooling is only hard if you don’t try to enjoy it.

This is true in any type of learning so better make sure that you try to enjoy getting new things inside your mind rather than keep on thinking about what clothes to wear or who would you take out on a date for the weekend. Of course, having fun is not discouraged, but you have to understand that you attended college to learn and not to fool around.
